Is Brynn always on the go?!?!?! Yes. Hahaha, anyways. Somehow I ended up on a bus at 3:30 in the morning with Meals on our way to NYC. We both still had jet lag from CA and really hadn't slept well in practically three weeks, but whatever! We can't sit still and both love NYC, so off we went!
We arrived in the city at approx. 9 A.M. so we had the entire day to explore! First stop: the Drybar. (well really Vineyard Vines super quickly) but back to the drybar. Let's be honest, I have SO MUCH hair and it's practically impossible to tame. I bought a dyson hairdryer for Christmas, wish me luck...focus, Brynn, focus.. I love the drybar. I use the haircare that they sell, and so will the doggies after Christmas.
Next stop: Lilly, duh!!!! This was one of the most amazing experiences at a Lilly store. I met several Lilly designers and got the inside scoop on some new items... HINT: perfect for the pool!!!!! I also bought the most beautiful birthday dress ever, which I wore last night to dinner.
We also went to Serendipity 3 for frozen hot chocolate, which was delicious, and we only had to wait for a total of FOUR hours!!! oh my! SO totally worth it!
We also went to the plaza hotel to go to the Eloise store, I bought a gorgeous print for my dorm room! Rockefeller Center was gorgeous and so was Bryant Park! I love seeing the tree all ready for Christmas. I can't imagine how difficult it is to decorate.
In Bryant Park my mom found the cutest pop up store called Melsy's illustrations that sells prints. About 15 minutes before we had to head home, I made my way to the shop and found SO many adorable prints for my soon-to- be dorm wall.
that is pretty much the extent of our trip to the big apple! It was such a fun day and I cannot wait to go back!
