Second Quarter Complete!
Updated: Jul 29
I am officialy 2/3 done with my first year at Savannah College of Art and Design. For those of y'all who are new around here, I am studying fashion marketing and merchandising at my dream school, SCAD, in Savannah, GA!
My last break lasted six weeks, which was amazing! This one week break went by soooo fast, but I still had a blast!
This past quarter at SCAD went by smoothly. I made the dean's list again which I am super happy about. My classes were difficult and much more challanging than the last ones. I am DONE with drawing classes and I can offically say I will never be someone who is good a drawing. I learned the techiniques and I feel it will help me in the future, but glad it is over!! I loved my color theory class! Compared to last quarter, I feel much more involved in school, and more like a "college student."
In the fall, I really struggled with not feeling like I was getting the typical college experience. This quarter, I took 2 full days worth of classes vs. breaking them up so I could spend a total day on campus.
I won't ever take back to back classes again because I hated leaving Louie Vee for almost 12 hours, but I did love having the two extra days during the week free for homework, working, and appointments.
This quarter coming up I am taking my classes all in one day again (2x a week), but have a chunk of time free so I will be able to go home and check on LV.
I still looooove college and SCAD and just my life in general at this point. Work is great, LV is wonderful, and my heath is at a good managed point. I have found myself and I truly am so happy.
Thanks to all of y'all for the love and support as I follow my dreams!!!
