Next stop, Vienna!
From Amsterdam to Rome, let me tell y'all that my sister and I took Europe by Storm. We laughed (like a ton), cried, and had an incredible time togeter! Brianna and I had not spent more than a few days together since Paris last year, so it was special to travel abroad as a sister due.
As I mentioned in my Amsterdam post, we left from Canada to spend two weeks in Easten Europe. The trip was spent firsly with just us and then we met up with a group through Contiki, which I will talk all about in another post.
Here is the breakdown of what our trip looked like:
TORONTO, CANADA > AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS > VIENNA, AUSTRIA > KRAKOW, POLAND > BUDAPEST, HUNGARY > LJUBLIANA, SLOVENIA > VENICE, ITALY > ROME, ITALY
We met the tour group to start the trip in Vienna. The first night with Contiki, we went to a group dinner to meet the rest of our pals for the trip. The majority of the Contiki crew did a 50 day trip, but we just joined on for the middle part.
Best Food in Vienna-
We ate at the cutest little dessert place that was certainly a place I would become a local at if I lived there. I swear I could eat ice cream for every meal, and this was the BEST ever! I am all about a good vibe and I loved this little restaurant.
What We Did-
Brianna and I love to hang like locals and this is exaclty what we did. We met the sweetest uber driver and he told us what we needed to see and do. I loved getting to see the Merry-go-Round, St. Peter's Catholic Church, and even went to an amuesment park! PS- do NOT ride sketchy rides in Europe. HAHA
Thoughts on Vienna-
Vienna seemed very similar to Paris to me, classy and romantic. I loved the vibe! I felt very safe the entire time and it was super easy to get around downtown. the buildings had lots of history and they were beautiful! I would definetly visit again!
I cannot wait to share the rest of my Europe series!!
