Another post in the Europe series... Krakow! I really enjoyed getting to explore yet another beautiful city!
If you missed my last few posts, my sister Brianna and I spent two weeks in Eastern Europe. Here is the breakdown of what our trip looked like: TORONTO, CANADA > AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS > VIENNA, AUSTRIA > KRAKOW, POLAND > BUDAPEST, HUNGARY > LJUBLIANA, SLOVENIA > VENICE, ITALY > ROME, ITALY
What we did-
On the drive to Krakow, we stopped at Auschwitz and spent the day there. It was an extremely somber experience, one that I will never forget. A local tour guide showed us around and did a great job of explaning everything. It was a very difficult thing to see and hear about, but it was extremely meaningful.
The next day we spent the day exploring the city of Krakow. My favorite thing that we did was going on the Salt mine tour. It was epic!
What we ate-
The food in Poland wasn't necessarily my favorite, but we did get to make our own Polish Pierogies! The experiece was super fun, and made up for the bad taste.
My favorite part-
The best part was getting to see the Wayle Royal Castle. It was on top of a hill and once you made the climb, you could see the entire city. It was a breathtaking view!
On to the next city!
