First Week of Senior Year
What a week!!! Between getting a new car, running my first (very successful) event as student council president, and all of the fun times in-between, I survived my first week of senior year (barely). So many first lasts all happened in just one week. After twelve years of school, my last first day was bittersweet. Of course, as soon as I woke up, I listened to the song "Wherever I go" by Hannah Montana and was really sad about the thought of Meals and I not being together next year when we head off to college after being together for what feels like forever for our first days of school.
Anyways, riding to my last first golf match was super sad, hard to believe four years goes by so quickly. Although I don't have the patience for golf, I love playing on my schools golf team, lets be honest, my coach is a ball and he always makes sure we have fun! It is a life long sport, and I get better at it every year!
The week flew by and it was already Friday! Even though I won't miss waking up at 5:30 A.M., I will definitely miss team breakfast. It is a tradition at my school that on game mornings, the football players and the cheerleaders all go out to breakfast together. I am the only cheerleader that has been on varsity since Freshman year, so it's especially sad for me. Putting on my uniform for the first night under the lights, and riding the bus to the games, and cheering when we score our first touchdown, all of the little things I am sure I will miss next year!
I am so unbelievably blessed for everything my little school has offered me, and it's no secret that I don't do well with change. Excited, to say the least, what this school year will bring!
