WOW!!! What. A. Year. I'm about to get real here. It was a crazy year. Lots of good, some bad, and some just downright ugly. I think this has been the hardest year for me so far in life. After going through some really difficult and heartbreaking family stuff, going through treatment for my blood disease, and all of the little (big) things in between, I have had a very difficult year. I am SO beyond ready for 2018 and just to see where it will take me.
2017 also brought along some wonderful blessings to my life. I met some of the most incredible and loving individuals, sometimes I wonder how I have ever even lived without them. I was confirmed with my best friend, went to Disney with my friends, flew across the country to meet the JLB sisters, and that trip alone made me a better person, and was so eye opening to me. I ran for Student Council president and won, which is still bittersweet to think about. I was accepted to my dream school (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), Savannah College of Art and Design, and will attend next Fall. Traveled to NYC, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, California, and to Florida a handful of times. Had the opportunity to be a Jadelynn Brooke High School Ambassador for my senior year, a rep for 2313 Glitter Ave, and Jacob Wallace Designs. Went to Disneyland, a dream of mine since I was a little girl. I created my own blog, which is still hard to believe, and currently am working on creating my own YouTube channel.
To put an entire year into one post is practically impossible, but I just look back on the year in my mind and try to only look at the positives aspects. I have SUCH an incredible family, the bestest friend in the entire world, and a wonderful support system. I am so so so looking forward to all that the new year will bring.
here is to new beginnings, many more blog posts, lots of vacations, and to a happy and healthy year. 2018, I'm coming for you full swing!
